Dr. Nalini Kokaram, MBBS, FRCR
Dr. Nalini Kokaram is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, United Kingdom and a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. She is a highly experienced Radiologist with over two decades of clinical experience as a consultant in Trinidad and Tobago’s private and public health care system including the North West Regional Health Authority, North Central Regional Health Authority and the Eastern Regional Health Authority. She served as Head of Department, Radiology in both Sangre Grande Hospital and Port of Spain General Hospital and acting Chief of Staff, Port of Spain General Hospital.
Dr Kokaram introduced vascular imaging services to both Sangre Grande Hospital and Port of Spain General Hospital and was part of the National Organ Transplant Unit (NOTU) established in January 2006 in Trinidad and Tobago- providing radiological diagnostic assessments including pre-and post-op renal vascular doppler imaging and AV- fistula mapping for hemodialysis. She is currently a Consultant Radiologist at Eastern Medical Imaging Services Ltd, Ultimate Ultrasound and Premier Heart Care Ltd. At Premier Heart Care, her specialty procedures include ultrasound plus ultrasound guided needle biopsy and vascular imaging with doppler ultrasound. She provides X-Ray, CT and MRI reporting and second opinions on our cloud-based Premier Imaging Network.
