Dr. Malcolm Samuel, MBBS, FRCS
Dr Malcom Samuel is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, University of the West Indies, Jamaica. He underwent general surgery postgraduate training at the University Hospital, Jamaica before subspecialty training in the United Kingdom (Breast Surgery and Renal Transplantation). Dr Samuel has over 25 years' experience in all aspects of general surgery, including elective surgery, emergency surgery, and oncology (cancer) surgery.
Dr Samuel is the Lead Renal Transplant Surgeon at the National Organ Transplant Unit, EWMSC Trinidad & Tobago, where he introduced Hand Assisted Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy. As the Surgeon in Residence at the Trinidad & Tobago Cancer Society, he performs ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and surgery for breast cancer and benign breast conditions. Dr Samuel is a Consultant Surgeon at Premier Surgical Associates (a division of Premier Heart Care Ltd), providing consultations for general surgery, breast surgery and renal transplantation and operating at our affiliated Hospitals.
